Are you the religion you think?

Christina posted a link to a beliefs quiz the other day and I finally got around to taking it. My results are interesting, not what I expected.

1. Neo-Pagan (100%)
2. New Age (85%)
3. Unitarian Universalism (84%)
4. Mahayana Buddhism (83%)
5. Liberal Quakers (83%)
6. Reform Judaism (79%)
7. Sikhism (76%)
8. Hinduism (75%)
9. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (72%)
10. Scientology (68%)
11. Theravada Buddhism (65%)
12. Jainism (65%)
13. Bahá’í Faith (61%)
14. Orthodox Judaism (61%)
15. New Thought (60%)
16. Taoism (58%)
17. Orthodox Quaker (57%)
18. Secular Humanism (54%)
19. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (52%)
20. Islam (47%)
21. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (47%)
22. Jehovah’s Witness (35%)
23. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (35%)
24. Seventh Day Adventist (33%)
25. Eastern Orthodox (32%)
26. Roman Catholic (32%)
27. Nontheist (25%)

Liberal Protestant I expected…but that close to Scientology? Freaky. And neo-pagan? Huh? I do find it amusing that Reform Judaism is higher than Liberal Protestant; must have been all those Bar Mitzvahs I went to as a kid. Go take the quiz, and if you’re feeling brave, post your results too. I’m curious…and curious if anyone else has never heard of half of these religions before.

Seems I am bucking the systems in place. 100% only as a Secular Humanist. Is that a nice way of calling me a heathen? The 17% Jehovah’s Witness must be alluding to my inability to refrain from knocking on stranger’s front doors. And it seems if I ever want to be a Liberal Quaker, I would most likely fit in. But this only brings to mind the question, is there such a thing as a conservative Quaker?

  3. ooh, odd. i’m keeping mine to myself. haha

  4. Michelle’s probably wise, but I’m not afraid. I’ll just post the first 7 as I don’t feel any affinity whatsoever for the remainder:

The first two are one and the same thing anyway. Don’t hate me because I’m a traditional believer! You opened up this Pandora’s Box!

    1. Eastern Orthodox (100%)
    2. Roman Catholic (100%)
    3. Orthodox Quaker (97%)
    4. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (88%)
